How are styles loaded on this site?

Good afternoon. Can you please tell me how styles are loaded on this https://www.supermarket.ie/product/aveeno-baby-soo... site? To be more precise, there are two css files on the site, the one that works is style.css?23. What is this interesting format? how it works and why there are two style.css files

This is not a crooked maker.
This is how developer tools show it when a file has a "tail" after a question mark.
This is done to avoid caching. The file version changes - the hash changes - styles are not taken from the user from the cache. If the version has not changed, then from the cache.
In fact, one style.css file is connected to the site.
The rest of the "pieces" are shown by the source map.

The "?23" part in style.css?23 is needed to flush the cache. For example, you changed css and after the question mark you wrote instead of 23 - 24. Then the user's style cache will be reset and the new styles will be applied.
