How are complex animations made in React Native?

Hello.
What are native animations, how many are there, where can I read about them? All sorts of different overflows, element transformations, complex transitions between screens with animations (for example, https://dribbble.com/shots/2834322-Health-tracking... - how they are created, it's just SVG with the appropriate libraries or some specific binding in the form of several libraries? Animations by reference are native animations, how they are rendered, is it some kind of emulation of something (as in the case of webview) or nimble elements similar in performance to native components? Where can I read about it?
