How are cheats written for MineCraft, CS:GO, Dota2 and other games?

The essence of the question is as follows. Now I am actively studying the Java language, and later I plan to learn c ++. So, I'm very interested in how cheats are written for games? Especially minecraft, no matter how you write, in English in Russian, there is no such thing and that's it. I rummaged through the entire Internet - I found nothing. Because of what is there such a desire? It's good practice and I'm interested in it.
I would like to see a clear and constructive answer, without ridicule and the like, if possible in more detail, in order to understand at least what to teach and how people generally do it when there is not a single training / guide on this .. Who fumbles, I'm waiting for yours reply thank you <3

Usually, cheats are functionality that was originally provided by developers, it's just used for debugging or testing the game, and not for fair play.
Some non-standard cheats are already possible due to reverse engineering, you need to dig deep.

Here is a CS:GO cheat written in kotline, JVM https://github.com/Jire/Charlatano.
I think in the source code you can find a lot of interesting things for the purpose of studying.
