How are bitcoin blocks physically stored?

Who can explain how bitcoin blocks are physically stored in the database? Not inputs-outputs, hash links, but how is a block written to the database?

In fact, there is no base there. Blocks are stored raw in files. And indexes on these files are stored in LevelDB.
