How and with what to see which device or driver makes hardware reserved memory?
For some reason, 4 gigs out of 16 periodically turn out to be hardware reserved in Windows 8.1 64 bit.
How to find out who is taking over? There is no built-in video card!

some discretes on laptops labeled 1-2+gb vram actually have 128-512 memory, the rest is from RAM. in your case, try uninstalling the video drivers and everything will be visible right away.
