How and where is it correct to use ActiveRecord::Store?

The question is broader than it might seem and more about opinions and advice. So, I came across such an interesting thing as - ActiveRecord::Store
In what cases do you use this feature in your projects? :)

In one of the projects I used a similar solution, but as a plugin for Postgres(Hstore). Data about page views was stored in a serialized form.
