I would love to take part ... There is a lot of time, but I don’t know where to put it, I’d better spend it with benefit.

Likewise, I would love to participate. But only if this project will benefit society, and will not be a copy of something that already exists.

I would like to get answers to the following questions first.
1) What does not satisfy a large number of existing frameworks?
2) For what purposes will the creation of your framework be designed, will anyone be interested in general, except for ourselves?
3) It would be nice to draw up a work plan and what aspects we will capture, maybe even do a little research on what exactly most developers are rewriting or rewriting and why. Based on the data obtained, prepare a recipe for cooking.
When organizing an idea, it would be right to gather people to present a work plan, and jointly correct the plan. Divide into groups, by area of expertise and scope of work, and perform tasks synchronously. It’s also a question before starting work, it’s good to discuss the writing style so as not to make a redneck project.
If there is a good organization of the idea, then do not mind taking part in the project.

1. do not satisfy everyone for various reasons: naming systems, routing, orm, forced use of views / yaml / etc, lack of hmvc, lack of modularity, etc.
2. task coverage is quite large, in combination it should become a platform with a set of ready-made modules for quick site creation. (in fact, it already is, just copy the module to make it work - it can create everything necessary for its work, including database tables
) .
the style is constant, I can write a detailed guide.

The updated Kindle is an excellent reader! I have been using it for about a month and a half, the impressions are only positive!
Costs $80 + ~$20 shipping to Russia through an intermediary.

If pdf, djvu, doc - then take a bigger screen. I use a 5-inch Digma, and it is inconvenient to read all kinds of PDFs on it - the page is displayed too small on the screen, and if you enlarge it, it is inconvenient to navigate on the sheet and turn the pages.

IMHO with formats this is not the biggest problem, if you wish, you can convert everything from everything. Another question is why the book is needed. If for reading literature, then this is one thing, if for technical documentation, then another. Based on this, choose a diagonal. I have the 4th Kindle, I manage to read technical documentation on it, but this is often quite inconvenient, because I often have to scroll back and forth to see both the code and its description. Also, 6" is not very comfortable to read unrecognized pdfs, they are hard to scale. On the other hand, 6" is convenient to hold and carry with you to read somewhere on the road. For myself, I decided I need 2 readers: 6 "for reading ordinary literature and 9.7" for documentation.
Therefore, decide on the format and purpose, and then select the manufacturer.

As the owner of Digma q600, I advise you to take a closer look at books not from this company.
Although TXT, PalmDOC, PDF, fb2, ePub, DjVu, RTF are declared there,
Digmas are good for reading fb2 (I only needed it), but you are unlikely to like working with pdf & djvu.
The scaling is not very good, the update speed strongly depends on the firmware versions (somewhere there is a PDF Reflow, somewhere not).
I agree with Ajex, the choice of a book depends heavily on what kind of texts you will read.
6 inches is exactly the reader , for plain text without diagrams, diagrams and other things. Letters only.
In general, good luck in your search!
Well, happy new year to everyone.

I use explay HD book for 3000 rubles. A great thing, in all respects, but if it is possible to take it with a screen of 600 pixels or more on the smaller side, take it.
PS pdf and djvu I read easily and with pleasure, thanks to the habrauser degorov - habrahabr.ru/blogs/ebooks/129397/.

In my opinion, the diversity of formats is a rather controversial benefit. You can convert to another format using the same Calibri (you don’t need to shaman, just choose which device you have and the program will automatically convert to the desired format and upload the book to the device), the main thing is that the reader understands the text format (mobile, fb2, txt or something like that) and PDF (to read scans, the same djvu can be easily converted to PDF).
If format support is important, then I would take Sony, there are several models that understand a bunch of formats. I would not take any PocketBook, Ergo and others, they do not inspire confidence, and clumsy (go to any store and click for a couple of minutes, you will understand everything yourself). Sony is well-made, a normal menu, it works smartly, there were no bugs when working with it.
Now, as for reading any scans (djvu, pdf): if you have unrecognized scans, then reading them on a small screen is unrealistic (now many have 6 inches, Sony has 7 models but this does not solve the problem), you will either not see anything, Or wave constantly to scroll. Recognizing scans is not an option for me personally.
I have to read a lot of scans, so I took a Kindle DX for this purpose, a large screen solves all problems.
Summary: if all formats out of the box are vital - Sony, if a bunch of formats are not needed and are satisfied with reconversion and you don’t need to read scans - Kindle 4 (I don’t understand why people say that Kindle 3 is more convenient), if it’s boring to read a lot of scans - only Kindle DX.

If you look towards kindle, I advise kindle 3 ( such ).
PS I also used the 3rd one, broke it, bought the 4th one. IMHO the 3rd is more successful (the screen is a little lighter, and the battery lasts an order of magnitude longer)

For reading simple literature (not scans), the Kindle is great. I have a Kindle 3 Wi-Fi + 3G
Books are uploaded via Wi-Fi by e-mail, no wires (however, you can upload files by dragging files to a USB flash drive).
But, for reading scans - Kindle, and I think that in general, all current elink readers are not suitable. Screen resolution, not convenient control, slowness.
As for the “beautiful screen, wow, it’s generally super” - there is little truth. For example, in the evening, in a place that is not very well lit, it becomes unpleasant to read - little light enters the screen, it becomes very dim and dark.
As a result: my grandmother uses my Kindle, reads Pelevin (the English interface does not bother her). I use an iPad because the vast majority of my literature is scans.
In a situation with poor lighting, the iPad wins.

it would be necessary to decide, firstly, on the appointment, i.e. diagonal (painted above), and secondly, with a screen type - TFT or E-ink.
