The thing is that you need a slider that, if the width is less than 400px, will be transformed into a slider of 3 images standing one under the other.
With a width greater than 400px, there are just floats 8 pictures next to each other

Why not make a media query and if the screen width is less than 400px, cancel the float? and limit slider height to 3 images
