A promoted domain is a value. For some reason, this thing comes to many with difficulty. There are no "honest" registrars, just as there are no "honest" banks. This is business, nothing personal. Therefore, it is better to keep a good well-promoted domain with a registrar that won't piss you off.
PS: If you plan to deal with politics or "gray" topics - it's better not to go into the .ru / .su / .rf zones - they will immediately separate them. Moreover, this will be done by the technical registrar, who directly maintains the zone, and the registrar that took the money will only say "and I have sweethearts"
