Home network (IP TV, PC, notebook and 2-3 more gadgets) myth or reality?
So, the crux of the matter:
A fiber-optic cable from an Internet provider comes to the apartment. I would like to connect IP TV, a stationary PC, a laptop, a game console, a couple of smartphones and a tablet without wires. If there are specialists or those who have succeeded, help with advice:
-Will wi-fi pull data transmission to the set-top box for IP TV? (will it even show if a torrent is downloaded on a PC, for example)
-What equipment is better to use routers? repeaters? access points? wifi adapters?
Thanks to.

Discarding torrents, everything will work (at least for me) without much configuration work. Of course, if we are discussing home use. But better than the good old wire, in terms of price / quality ratio, nothing has been invented yet. If the budget allows, buy a separate access point for TV, set up on different channels. However, don't expect the same dynamics from iptv as you would from wired.
And torrents and cable will take all the possible SHPP from Provo, if you don’t limit it in the torrent downloader.
And my personal opinion, if it is possible to connect IPTV by wire, connect by wire. I ended up doing just that.
