High resolution raster or vector for a casual game?
Hello gentlemen, the thing is - I'm making a game for android on libgdx, the game should work on different screens and the question arose, what is better to draw bitmap images in Photoshop in the size of 4096x4096 or just make a vector in illustrator? I wonder how they do in professional studios?

Not every device will pull such textures. You can try to make a composite back - glue from different textures, tile some, stretch some.
You can create high-resolution rasters, and at the first start - programmatically form them from the source ones to the desired screen resolution and cache them. On subsequent launches, use the cache.
