Hibernation stopped working in Windows 7?
Most recently, I reinstalled Windows 7 and after installing 2-3 weeks normally, the laptop went into hibernation.
But today hibernation stopped working.
When you press the "Hibernate" button on the laptop, the monitor turns off for a while, and then the login window is shown. During installation, Windows 7 created (as usual) a hidden "System Reserved" partition and made it active.
For all sorts of different devices, I removed the checkmark "Allow to wake from sleep mode" everywhere.
I read some sources - they write that the partition on which Win7 is installed must be active in order to use hibernation. But it has worked until today.
Plus, when using "shutdown /h", the console displays "Unable to find file (2)".
Can someone help solve the problem? And then I'm already used to hibernation.
PS. Maybe it has something to do with the problem. A few days before, for unknown reasons, one partition on the hard drive (not the system one) flew off. I got it back pretty quickly. Naturally, during all these operations, the active partition did not change.

I solved the problem by reinstalling fresh firewood for sound ...
First of all, look for errors in the event log:
Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Event Viewer → Windows Logs → System
I have Windows 7, I didn’t understand exactly after which action it stopped going into hibernation - instead, it went to sleep, and then for a short interval, then the screen turns on at the account login window. It helped - through Acronis Disk Director, you need to select the partition on which our Windows =>>> right click =>>> mark the partition as active =>>> reboot.
