Let's say there is an online store, it has a catalog with goods on several levels.
1) there is such an entity as a product, it has a constant set of its mandatory characteristics
2) a product can belong to several categories of the catalog at the same time (you can go to the product from different places)
2) Categories of the catalog can have a set of characteristics if the product "lies" in this category then it has the same characteristics - they become like the properties of the product. If it is possible to add a new characteristic in the category, the characteristic is added to each product accordingly.
How to organize database tables, I'm trying to understand the principle of how tables and relationships should be built.
Could you throw off examples of a database of online stores or social networks, where there is something similar, but, for example, the names are different?
