HDD laptops: cure or make an ashtray?

There are three hard drives: different ages, from different laptops, with different problems.
1. Hitachi, 6GB, mini-IDE (I don’t remember the model, because I don’t have it at hand now) - I got it from my first deceased laptop Compaq Armada 3500 (sob-sob, how I feel sorry for him ...). Not detected by systems - no other laptop or PC (via an adapter) sees it (neither BIOS, nor any software). It looks like it doesn't even spin. Actually, there is no hope for recovery, but if suddenly someone knows the secret jumper, there will be a super gift from the past.
Relatively fresh:
2. Fujitsu MHY2250BH, 250GB, SATA, extracted from MacBook, data harvested by 99.(9)%. It pretends to work for us, but at the same time it is an infernal brake. Currently clean. It beats on sections, formats it, files are copied, but very slowly.

Broken sections are clearly present: installation of *inds occurs only with tricks (not for the first 20GB, otherwise BSOD), the work of an already installed system is also sad - then the software is not installed (large and heavy Microsoft Office. Libre got up and even worked a little), then the files are not copied.

The last two instances can be completely destroyed or used as training grounds for training data recovery skills.
Victoria and MHDD do not see them from DOS, they cannot do anything good from under Windows.
Are there methods for their rehabilitation, or can you not puff and let them do crafts?

At one time I used the HDD Low Level Format Tool - several problematic screws are still used as a file cleaner.

The screws are in the furnace. Or for long "deferred" backups. I'm talking about your Fujitsovskie.
For data recovery - practice with eg CloneZilla and TestDisk
Test disk, HDDScan and R.saver (More to understand how these programs work), in addition to MHDD.
About HDD Low Level Format Tool has already been written.
In general, quite often it is enough to boot from, say, a Linux LiveCD and simply copy the data. If it does not help - the aforementioned TestDisk and CloneZilla
There is also such a wonderful thing as external chassis / docks / converters with a USB interface. Sometimes you can use them to connect the drive and pull out the data.
