Has anyone worked with HierarchyId type in Entity Framework?

Need to implement tree in Sql Server 2012 with HierarchyId field using Entity Framework . I found a fork of Entity Framework with HierarchyId , but there is no documentation in it.
Who faced the given task advise where to dig?
