There are many CSS Frameworks out there, all of them have responsiveness now.
(Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation, Semantic UI, UI Kit, Flat UI)
There are really a lot of frameworks. We chose for one startup.
I remembered one of the factors that we turned to in Skel.
We looked at sites on mobile devices created using different frameworks and paid attention to how the main blocks, elements line up.
So, on all sites on Bootstrap, the main blocks were pulled out strictly in one column. And in many ways, this made the perception of content uncomfortable.
Now, unfortunately, getskel.com redirects to https://github.com/n33/skel
But when the site was working, there was material and functionality demonstrating the features of the framework, and so, multi-column worked very well on mobile devices.
