Hard reset iphone to remove semi-tethered jailbreak?

Couldn't find any info on the internet about this. The question concerns for all axis from ios9. For they use a semi-attached jail, which does not work after rebooting the device. As far as I know, it is placed on top of the Spring Board (Cydia substrate).
If I do a hard reset through the settings, will the traces of the jail be removed? Will the device start at all? (in the case of an attached jail, it would not start)
