Hard hitting hover on macOS css?

Hey!
When you move the cursor over a href link on macOS, the color of the link changes somehow abruptly: at first smoothly and sharply towards the end, and the same thing when the cursor is moved away. Although the styles are the most common

Why is this happening? Although there is no such thing on windows - all color (transparency, color) changes smoothly, without sharp transitions.
