Gui or console for working with git repositories?
Actually, not so long ago I started using git, downloaded a regular git for myself, which has both bash and a GUI, and also found a more pleasant program using the smartgit interface .
Now I can not understand why they still use the console if the gui provides more information and opportunities in visual contact?
Are there any fundamental differences and is it important for the employer to use the console or gui?

90% of the time you just don't need "more information and opportunities in visual contact".
you just need to enter 4-5 commands, the result of which you will know by heart.
