GUI builder issue in IntelliJ Idea?

I think everyone who codes in the idea had a GUI builder problem. My problem is that I write the most productive code in the idea, but the GUI builder there is absolutely unusable for me. Now I need to write an application in swing, and, as a more or less acceptable option, I use the Google eclipse GUI builder, copy the code into the idea and continue to work with it there. But this entails many problems, and, frankly, it is inconvenient and not comme il faut at all. I would like to ask people who code in the idea how they solved this problem.

PS I apologize for such a vague wording of the question, I could not formulate the problem more precisely. Thanks in advance for the helpful tips and possible solutions to the problem.

How about not using the GUI Builder at all? Really, try it. Productivity may even increase.

Have you thought about changing Swing to JavaFX? Scene Builder from Oracle is used to edit fxml files. IMHO everything is more convenient and without any copying.
