Grunt or Prepros, which is better and more convenient?

Good day, I'm doing a small web project, writing in Jade + scss. For assembly I use Prepros. It seems that everything suits, but the free version is annoying with a pop-up window. I looked at the graphical competitors - there is nothing good under Windows, except for Prepros. I read the article habrahabr.ru/post/251157
Everything rests on the fact that for Grunt you need to register, configure, enable a bunch of everything .. and all this without UI.
Those who use Grunt in their projects - is it convenient, do you get used to it? Once configured and everything, or constantly have to adjust? Or maybe look towards the young Gulp?
P.S. I don't understand JS

I haven't used Grunt or Prepros, but I do use Gulp.
Conveniently? - mega convenient. You get used to it quickly, at least I didn’t calve for a long time)).
You decide on the structure of the project, a template, so to speak, install the necessary plugins, prescribe tasks for each task, at the end write a task that will monitor files and run the necessary tasks. All. You do it once and forget, well, unless you want to add new plugins. Deploying a project with one command in the console is magic ))
Not to say that he is strongly needed here, if only to write something of his own. And for the same plugins there is detailed documentation with examples.

No matter how much I tried to do at least something with Grunt, nothing worked for me, one hemorrhoid with it. Maybe the fact is that I work under Windows and the program is sharpened for linux? Perhaps, however, the result - it is unrealistic to work with Grunt - the program stupidly does not work.
And Prepros starts up easily, quickly and intuitively how to use it, you can literally figure it out by typing.
So Grunt Mazda, Prepros rules

I myself use prepros and I like it, except for pop-up windows. I tried koala-app.com/. There are no popup windows, but it DOES NOT WORK with jade. Looks like I'll have to learn how to use gulp
