Groovy scriptlets in docx documents: should they be posted to the public?
For one of my projects, I needed to generate contract documents in docx format. iReport capabilities did not suit us (it took a long time to figure it out, limited styles, aimed at reports).
A solution and implementation was born: the ability to work with view scriptlets <% out.print('вася'); %>
and ${contract.num}
directly in a docx document in MS Word was added. Also added is the ability to generate table rows by bypassing the list of objects.
The opinion of the community is interesting:
did you encounter such a problem, how did you decide whether to put it in a public repository?

Very interesting. In general, working with the docx format is not very developed in Java and derivatives - any new, especially free developments are interesting.
