Grey, blue after loading Linux?

Hello masters.
I'll tell you a short story about how I installed Windows, and installed Linux next to it (this is to make it easier to understand who to blame).
So, everything was fine, I started using two operating systems. If necessary, rebooted, chose either Linux or Windows. But most of all I like Linux, and my soul really hurts when something wrong happens to it.
Today was such a day:
first I booted from Linux, looked at videos, peed in the editor, everything was fine
then I rebooted, entered Windows, got stuck a little, and again I wanted to see Ubuntu
But then they broke off the whole buzz for me, either some updates, or I messed up myself (but at the same time I haven’t installed anything since the installation on Linux, mb it updated itself how, I don’t know), but the fact is that now, when loading Linux, I am prompted to enter a login: password (only the shutdown icons, wi-fi, etc. have disappeared somewhere at the top in the bar). After correctly entering the login and password, it turns out such a wild thing:
first this:

then a little later, this:

What could be the problem, tell me please (
The terminal starts up normally

@sflyer

/var/log/Xorg.0.log read, find an error (or post it here)
Also remove the NVIDIA drivers (if you use) with the command:
sudo apt-get purge nvidia-*
And restart
