GreenSock or anime.js?

Hello. I am making a site that is very complex with the animation part, there will be ineractive cartoons from svg. Is GreenSock much better than anime.js?

This question is for front-end developers who have a lot of experience with these two libraries and who can give a specific detailed opinion, not a general advice :)

very complex with the animation part of the site

Well, "very complex" is a loose term. If you need complex morphing or physics in 2d - definitely take GSAP, it has ready-made plugins for this (which means you don't need to think about integrating something from the outside). And so in most everyday tasks you won’t notice the difference between these tools, it’s more likely to taste and color: GSAP is a more “enterprise-confusing” tool with a bunch of buttons, and anime.js is closer to the unix-way - small and solving one task.
