Graphic station configuration
I'm not strong in iron. Therefore, I ask for advice. For a long time I have a desire to assemble myself a semblance of a graphic station. Powerful computer for rendering, working with large photos. Windows, not Mac.
What do you advise? What to pay attention to? Does it make sense to install an SSD hard for the system and a regular one for storing files? How many operatives "just right"?

It all depends on what you're rendering. If it only supports processors, then something multi-core, intel 6 cores would be good. If video cards are supported with all sorts of places and the like, then a couple of three 590x if the software can load everything at once. Just do not forget about the power supply with all these pieces of iron and about ventilation. There is never a lot of memory, since it is cheap, so 16+ gig. The ssd for the system is also cheap already, you can put 120 gigs.
In general, it all depends on the budget and tasks. With an unlimited budget, you can collect a lot of things :)
- Memory more than 2 GB;
- Processor 2 or more cores;
- Harder with more volume, its speed is of little importance;
— Monitor 27'' and more;
- Video card 512 MB, so that there are no problems with the monitor;
— The power supply to pull it all.
Here the main points are the processor, memory and monitor, the rest is secondary.
