Gradle hangs in Android Studio on "Execute task action"?

The focus is next. When starting gradle synchronization, the process hangs at the moment "Execute task action". A few hours can hang like that to no avail. Whether it's a new project or not. As far as I understand, this is due to the fact that the OpenJDK Platform binary process is marked as "Suspended" in the task manager. But why does it stop and how to deal with it? Or maybe it's not because of this at all? I have been struggling with this problem for several days, this has not been observed before, I can’t find out the reason, and Google also turned out to be not an assistant. Windows 10 system, Android Studio 3.1.4. On the beta of Android Studio 3.2 - the same thing.
