GPU computing?

Hello, is there a single framework for most video cards (from different manufacturers) for parallel computing?
I only know CUDA, but it only works under nVidia cards.

There also seems to be (was?) AMD Brook + (see habratopic ), but, unfortunately, I don’t know how relevant it is now. You can also look towards BrookGPU .
