Google - Search Editing

Recently, Google has become annoying with its "improvements". Looking for something. Then I start editing the desired line, and the cursor jumps to the end of the line after the first letter. Terribly annoying. Does anyone know if this can be disabled somehow (in the settings or by blocking some script)?

Settings button (upper right corner)

-> Search Settings -> Google Live Search -> Disable
Should help.

Like any big company, Google first developed, made useful improvements, and in recent years has begun to rot. I can’t advise anything specific - change the browser, search engine or something else of your choice.

You can disable javascript specifically for www.google.com (or .ru).
(In extreme cases, if you have javascript skills, you can write and connect your own script to this domain, which will spoil unwanted “improvements” - this is a universal way for all time).
PS I have Opera 11.50 - the cursor does not jump anywhere ...

Save a separate search bar in Firefox or Opera. There you can do what you need, and not what you are forced to do.
