Google maps vs yandex maps?
Hi all. Immediately I apologize for the strange and perhaps not very suitable question for Habr, but the truth is important to know. What cards are better for Ukraine? Please unsubscribe whoever thinks. Possible without argument. Thanks in advance.
UPD: It's really worth pointing out what criteria are "better". I'm interested in laying long distance routes. Interested in relevance (some roads may be blocked, under repair) and, of course, accuracy.

I don’t know about Ukraine, but for Russia it all depends on the city and on what functionality you need.
I will give an example for Chelyabinsk:
Google-maps:
+ Detailing satellite photos.
- Traffic jams.
— POI.
Yandex Maps:
+ Number and relevance of organizations on the map.
+ Traffic jams.
+ POI (relevance and quantity).
+ Panoramas.
- Quality and detail of satellite photos.
Personally, I like the way Yandex maps are drawn (color, contrast, etc.), but this is my personal opinion. All markers are different in taste and color.
Please specify for what purpose?
Are you referring to online products, or the cartographic information of these services "as a whole"?
For offline use, there is SAS Planet, which covers 80% of all needs.
Why not try to look at Google maps and Yandex maps on a site that, for example, is well known to you (but not in a large city) and compare?
From my own experience: we looked at the Petersburg-Lviv route, mail and Yandex offer to go through Lithuania, Latvia and Poland (no options, just like that, an attempt to put dots “I want to go through here” did not help, it was shown that I had to call in Belarus, return and go through Lithuania, Latvia and Poland) Google showed the same route + option through Belarus (which we were interested in).
The most relevant, logically, should be a people's map from Yandex, but I'm not sure about its suitability for laying routes.
In my locality, I only use it, since Google doesn’t know about Yoshkar-Ola at all, while Yandex even draws forest primers.
