Google maps initialization, how to add SetTimeout?

Peace for everyone! The problem is this:
There is a map at the link: cikadaweb.com/lion/store_locator
All content is output via JS from a JSON file.

Due to some problem, as I believe due to the fact that js is not manages to make an AJAX request sometimes nothing is displayed, although the drop-down list should be displayed anyway.
With multiple updates, you will be taken to the case when nothing will be displayed.
Which solution would be better? Maybe add a SetTimeout or is there a better solution? And how to add SetTimeout if you use it?
