Google Chrome: Zoom issue after update. There is a solution?

For a long time I have not sat on the "Windows", and now the following problem has arisen. Windows 7 system. After updating Google Chrome to version 37.0.2062.3 m (64-bit), now everything looks scaled, although this was not the case with the previous version. Not only the content itself, but the interface itself. In this case, scaling is turned off (it is by default - 100%). In other browsers (Firefox, Opera, Safari) everything looks fine. Yes, I must say that the font size is set to 125% in the system itself, the screen resolution is 1680x1050. If you return the font size to 100%, then Chrome also looks normal.
How to deal with this problem? I have not yet found an unambiguous solution (except how to return the font size back to 100%).

Menu - settings - at the bottom "Show advanced settings" - there is a page scale and a font scale. And there is also a fine-tuning of the font, which works through the application (chrome itself sends this application to be downloaded).
Well, so, this is the most logical thing from the side of chrome, if an enlarged font is installed in the system. If the user wants to see a larger font in programs, then why should the browser be an exception? Because webmasters are too lazy to adapt sites to any font?

@alexraven

The problem was solved by a complete reinstall of Chrome :)

Reinstallation did not help me, it is also interesting how to overcome this, but most likely the question is not for From, because after the update it began to behave in the same way as all other applications.

This is due to DirectWrite API support in the new version of Chrome (37th). The DirectWrite API can be disabled using the chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write flag
