Google Chrome began to slow down when switching between tabs, how to fix it?

The whole browser seems to think or even hang at the moment of switching between tabs for two or three, sometimes five seconds. This was not the case before. Other browsers on the same sites do not have this effect.

The solution was found on reddit. It is unexpected and unobvious.
In Chrome, you need to install a theme from the store , if it is not already there. If it is already there, then vice versa, it must be disabled. For some reason, it helps from the brakes on switching tabs.

Clear your cache. Also try opening an incognito window and try it out. You can also restart the browser without extensions, perhaps the problem is in some kind of extension.
