Google apps - mail on your domain - protection from incoming spam?

I have a private gmail account and love it for its excellent spam protection.
There is a domain of a small organization that used to live on a regular hosting (infobox). There are multiple email addresses on a domain.
We recently switched to free Google Apps for the domain and transferred all mail to Google. Suddenly, users began to complain about the greatly increased (compared to the infobox) amount of email spam.
I began to study the topic, but to my surprise I did not find anything specific.
But in one of the paragraphs of the advertising text, where Google offers to try a paid subscription, there is an item "Protection of Postini from viruses and spam."
My guess is that all Gmail users have this protection turned on, while free Google Apps users have it turned off.
Who can say anything about this?
And another question - how is Yandex doing with this? For among the variety of services offered by Google Apps, we only need mail, and it is somehow unreasonable to switch to a paid subscription to protect against spam.

I have a free subscription, the box doesn’t light up much, but I don’t hide it either.
There is no spam in the inbox.
The girl on her domain also has free google mail.
It shines in the box everywhere, as a result, up to 100,000 spam emails per month (!), However, 99.999% in the spam folder and in the inbox there is nothing particularly superfluous and you can always complain about spam and stop seeing these letters.
So I don’t think that Google is “blackmailing” you in this way, the reason is something else.

Free account, the address [email protected]_kontora_.ru is stupidly published on the main page of the site. This address has five more aliases. There are more than 4,000 emails in the spam folder all the time. From 0 to 2-3 unsolicited letters break through per day. From 0 to 3-5 letters per week, in the spam folder, there are constantly about 2500 messages in the personal box published on the contact page.
Maybe it's sort of self-learning? )

Postini is an additional service. Free google apps offers exactly the same level of spam protection as a regular gmail account.
And yes, the spam folder is self-learning. Therefore, it is very important not to delete spam, but to mark it as spam. Accordingly, normal letters found in the spam folder can be transferred from there with the appropriate button.
Over time, the mailer will make less and less mistakes.

I confirm:
I have been using Google mail on my domain for the 3rd year, a free package, it works little different from regular mail - the spam filter works well.
Now I asked a friend: he uses Google Apps as part of an office document-turnover in his company - he does not experience any problems with spam.
