Google Apps catalog. Sharing contacts, grouped
Good evening.
There is an organization that uses Google Apps for Education. When you enable contact sharing, the Google Apps Directory is available to all users of the domain - but now only information about the user's last name, first name, and email address is stored there.
Is it possible to add other information there (position, work and mobile phone, etc.) and break it into groups? Once, and so that all users have the changes, and not everyone in the personal My Contacts notebook.
So that the user, being in his mail account, could see not only a long list of names and emails, but groups like:
"Accounting" -> Ivanova Maria Ivanovna, chief accountant, email, mob.
"Training Department"...
Thank you.

The official ready-made version - support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=ru&answer=2590392 - will give a general address book. In this case, it will be possible to create a shared address book in some account and issue access to it according to the proposed instructions. But access will have to be given to each individually.
For comfortable work with the shared address book of all domain members, you need to use the Google Domain Shared Contacts API. In this case, you must either write your own application, or use something ready-made. See for example such a ready-made solution www.setupmadeeasy.com/shared-contacts-tour.php or something similar in the Google Apps Marketplace www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/search?query=shared+contacts&orderBy=RELEVANCE&featuring=5&referrer=Paging
Here are more options for ready-made Google Apps:
Apptivo Contacts Sharing - www.apptivo.com/contacts-sharing/ (free)
Smart Contacts Manager - www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/viewListing?productListingId=6723+662574286124949443 (12€/ domain/year)
Shared Groups - www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/viewListing?productListingId=2083+12830481423215493060 (1€ user/year for large enterprises, 10€/year for single)
In the admin console in Setting / Contacts there are settings: Choose which user email addresses should be visible to other users and Choose what is shown in the browsable "Directory" in Contact Manager , the contacts themselves are promised to be in www.google.com/contacts/ a/ <your_domain>. I did not use these contacts myself, but it looks like what you need.
