gnome-network-manager openvpn how to configure routing?
Hello colleagues!
Something I completely screwed up with NetworkManager-openvpn-gnome.
All configuration of the server and client is already done.
If on your machine in the terminal:
sudo openvpn client.ovpn
Then everything connects correctly. The system does not try to make the vpn server default gateway
. If I import this file into NetworkManager-openvpn-gnome, then the vpn server is set to default gateway.
How to overcome this trouble?
Setting the "points" to IPv4->Only for the local network in the connection settings does not help. When connected, the vpn server becomes the default gateway.

Here is the solution:
Import the VPN connection settings. Next, go to settings ->IPV4->Automatic DHCP -> check the box at the very bottom for "Use this connection only for resources on this network".
Ready!
Now, when connecting, the Default Gateway will not be reassigned
