Github doesn't save folders that start with "_"?

I use Eclipse Helios, which is for php, with EGit plugin. Windows 7 x64 if that matters.
Faced with the fact that the Github repository does not have all the project folders that start with the "_" symbol, for example, "_global".
Google did not answer anything intelligible, only advice is to use a hyphen.
Tell me what could be the problem, why these folders are not loaded?

As a result, "_" was changed to "@". In my case, it's even prettier, it's a pity to waste time on the "_" problem.
