Github desktop and github?

Hello! Previously, when I installed GitHub desktop, it was installed along with Git Bash, now it has been updated and I don’t see git bash, and the program itself is somehow changed, I decided to try it, at the installation stage I logged in using a github account, created a repository, go to github profile and there is emptiness, maybe the new version needs to be configured somehow? Locally, the commits in the program go, everything is visible, but it doesn’t get to the github site, don’t kick it hard =)
