Git submodules reference is not a tree how to solve?

Due to an invalid commit, an error occurred during git submodule update --init.
In the console it gives:
fatal: reference is not a tree: c06282ffea27160c61a86e0abd81a9934cb3cc4c
Unable to checkout 'c06282ffea27160c61a86e0abd81a9934cb3cc4c' in submodule path 'library'
Has anyone encountered this? How to solve the problem?
