Git client windows vertical scroll not working?

I downloaded the git client for windows from git-scm.com . The problem is that neither in the console nor in the gui git does scrolling work when scrolling the wheel on the mouse, is this not intended?

Are you sure it's not the OS/mouse that's the problem? Just yesterday I downloaded and installed the client, everything works fine. Is there a scroll bar? Can you move it with the mouse?
