genymotion stopped starting, what should I do?

The emulator suddenly stopped working.
VirtualBox writes to the console:

virtualbox this kernel requires an x86-64 cpu but only detected an i686 cpu

Reinstalling virtualbox and genymotion and creating new VMs didn't help.
Enabling PAE/NX too.
I checked in the BIOS Intel VT-x and AMD-V are enabled.
It's strange that in virtualbox you can't create a 64-bit virtual axis.
