Gentlemen, can you recommend good books on the basics of computer graphics?

I would like to get acquainted with this in detail, find out what the terms "shaders", "polygons" and many others mean, find out how a computer works with this, graphics mathematics and so on.
Do not google and subtract from Wikipedia, but get systematized information that can be used in the future.
Books in Russian and English. In Russian, of course, it is preferable.

Hello, there is probably no one book to fully describe all this. Have to read a lot.
I can recommend my articles: What is rendering? and What are shaders? .
According to books in Russian, it is very difficult to recommend anything, there are few good ones. There is a well-known Boreskov and his website, where you will find links to his books: steps3d.narod.ru
For books in English on computer graphics, for example here: www.realtimerendering.com/books.html

devburn: webgl lessons
Why webgl? Firstly, it is convenient - you only need a browser and a code editor.
Secondly, the webgl application looks like modern opengl, while there are a lot of opengl 1 tutorials on the net, with ancient functions like glVertex, glMatrixPush...
