Generation of html documentation based on markdown files

Good afternoon,
I decided to optimize the user documentation and bring it to a form convenient for teamwork.

Requirements:
Formatting source files - markdown.
Generation of multi-page documentation (many generators work with only one file).
Self-host
It is desirable to have ready-made templates, which would be enough just to change.

So far I have settled on the following options:
Beautiful docs
mdoc
markdoc

Maybe someone already had experience in finding a similar solution?

Thank you!

note: I also tested sphinx-doc- a good generation system, but uses reStructuredText. Of course, you can get confused and make a transparent conversion through pandoc , but for now I'm trying to find an alternative.
