Gantry Framework WP - Why is the content of the shortcode not showing?

How to enable shortcode interpreter?
Wordpress, Gantry framework installed and both Gantry and Helium theme installed.
When you add a shortcode like [xxxxx] to a page or post, you get just a space/blank space. Neither the shortcode itself nor the content is visible.
Dear experts, how to fix this ? For the network did not give me an answer at all ..
