Game servers on openvz or kvm?
I keep game servers on openvz, but on the Internet I came across an opinion that kvm is better for this task. Moreover, one hoster has an explicit ban on keeping game servers on openvz in the rules. Still, kvm is better or is it all prejudice?

KVM has more overhead, so it is logical that openvs is more profitable in terms of processor and memory costs.
In some ways it's better, in some ways it's worse. Technologies are different.
Hosters with open-vz often set up virtual machines in such a way that the user does not have guaranteed resources, and in the case when your hosting "neighbor" is loaded more, it will also affect you. In the case of kvm, most often the hoster provides guaranteed resources.
