Game license on GitHub?

Good day to all!
There is a game, the source of which is posted on GitHub . In connection with the recently opened issue , the question arose - under which license is it better to publish? And how to correctly specify the selected license on GitHub?
Hopefully the hubs are good enough for this question.

The website choosealicense.com will help you choose a license according to your taste.
Personally, I would recommend the MIT License if you want to allow your code to be widely used.
But I'm not a lawyer.

Strange question, of course. What kind of license - it depends on what you want. And indicate according to the license itself (there may be different requirements and preferences), in the readme at the root of the turnip, mention at least a plus in the license, source headers, etc.
