Front-end real-time database?

Hello. After writing a project using socketcluster, I realized that this is not exactly what I want from development. You have to do almost CRUD events for each entry, write a bunch of the same type of logic at the front, and so on.
I decided to look for realtime database, found firebase and deepstream. I liked Deepstream more on the API, and firebase has a package for Vue (the front-end framework I use). We need such a base exclusively for the front. The basis will remain laravel + mysql.
Now the question is: are there any other good realtime databases out there? How good is firebase? How good is deepstream? Which one is better? Cons of both solutions?
