From what to assemble a gaming PC for 30-40 thousand rubles?
Hi all. There is a question in assembling a gaming PC within 30-40 thousand rubles from scratch (it is planned to buy in the city link so as not to wait with aliexpress, etc.).
What is the best buy? What processor? In all the videos, amd is advised, but I tend more towards intel i5. What is the best video card? What to pay attention to?

If you still stay more or less within the budget and collect something at least somehow suitable for modern games, then this is almost possible. I exceeded the upper limit by only 5,000 (prices may vary in your city). Otherwise, other commentators are right: if you want the games to go comfortably, then you need to spend a little more money than it is now.
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 2600 BOX 10800
Motherboard ASROCK B450M-HDV R4.0 4000
Memory module KINGSTON DDR4 3200MHz - 8GB 3750 x2
Video card PALIT nVidia GeForce GTX 1660 15800
Power supply ACCORD ACC-500W-12 1800
SSD drive 2 80 A-DATA52
The rest - on the body, because there is essentially no choice here.
What you can save a little more on: take the usual green RAM with a frequency of 2666 MHz; Ryzen 5 1600 processor; 8GB Nvidia GTX 1650 or Radeon RX 580 graphics card.
Let me explain my choice a little. Above, it is advised to take 1060 and even 1050Ti. The latter was never worth the money, and especially now. When there is a newer generation of Nvidia in the face of the 16 series, in my opinion, it is still better to take a modern thing, albeit a lower segment. The motherboard on the specified chipset will allow you to somehow overclock both the processor and memory. For such overclocking, a boxed cooler is enough, so we don’t spend money on a separate cooler. By the way, if you wish, you can also save a little on the motherboard by taking the previous generation chipset: B350. An SSD of the selected volume will allow, in addition to the OS and some programs, to install as many as twomodern games (60+ GB of space each). But it’s better not to save on the power supply, but here the budget allows.
Look on the Internet for reviews of budget assemblies of gaming computers, see with what characteristics how many fps games will give out. Choose from this what will be a compromise on the integrity of the wallet and a comfortable game. The budget is small, so you can see valuable details in the same citylink. You will receive a guarantee, but the discount will often be significant.
Stop putting the words "40 thousand" and "gaming" in one sentence. One video card for a comfortable game costs 50 thousand rubles.
I collected food for myself in the following way: I
open a catalog of discounted goods
I look for pieces of iron, where they are right in the meat, but the parts I need are intact I
buy several pieces of iron and assemble a more or less adequate solution from them
Most often, such discounted pieces of iron can be partially paid for with all sorts of bonus points.
As a result, it turns out a two-generation computer, lagging behind the "top", but in terms of money it is very budgetary. Most often it turns out to assemble this on the basis of AMD.
To pull all the games you need $ 1k, at all times it is precisely this order of prices that game developers are guided by. If you lower the price bar, up to $500, then your games will pull 5-8 years ago.
AMD is recommended to you, since the price-performance ratio of the hardware of this company is always better (one and a half to two times cheaper), both processors and video cards. But, due to some market features and an aggressive marketing policy, software and games are better optimized for intel and nvidia, and it’s good that this doesn’t always happen and every day less and less problems are created because of this.
Your money is enough for ryzen and geforce gtx 1060 ( or just don’t take mining from the amd gtx 580 world)
something like this:
plus, choose a case with a power supply yourself (do not take this selection as an absolute truth, clicked on the first one that came across only to show the price order)
From the tips, choose memory in pairs of modules and preferably more frequency (this is critical for rysen), at least 8gb in total, cooler cooling should be as quiet as possible and have four pins (then its speed can be controlled), of course not to the detriment of the processor tdw, power supply, the declared power should be 30-40% higher than the calculated one for the components, do not chase the number of cores, you should be interested speed in one thread, even now games load a maximum of a couple of cores (the operating system also takes over the core, everything else will be eaten by google chrome)
And for little things, for example, drivers for a video card need to be selected according to versions (since it is old, in new versions of drivers its speed can be specially underestimated).
