From the standard address of the sitemap.xml file, a redirect leads to a parametric url like index.php?route=feed/simple_google_sitemap?
Guys, what is the question. I am a SEO specialist, but I don’t have much experience, and in my practice I have not come across a 301 redirect from the standard sitemap file address to some clumsy parametric URL. On the Internet they write that there may be problems with indexing. And in general, parametric clumsy urls do not inspire confidence in me.
How OK is this, and is it normal at all? Do I need to tell the programmer to remove the redirect, put the map at the normal address, and put it in the root directory? Or does it matter?

You can check with Google/Yandex webmasters if they can read the sitemap at this address
