Colleagues, good day.
There is SHMZ 6.4 (CentOS) , Asterisk 1.8.25.0 and FreePBX 12.0.76.4. It's all about ESXi.
Initially I wanted to upgrade FreePBX to version 13. Naturally I got "Your Asterisk version of 1.8.25.0 is NOT supported. You must have a version higher than or equal to 11".
And then the question arose, is it worth updating Asterisk and what can you face?
Have you had such an experience and what would you do yourself? Versions works and do not touch do not offer.
And how to update the asterisk correctly? asterisk-version-switch
