FreeBSD + FastVPS virtual server?
Is it possible to install FreeBSD on a virtual server in FastVPS/Hetzner?
I am not a professional administrator, I read that the OpenVZ technology used by FastVPS is not compatible with Freya. I hope I'm wrong.

it won’t work on a virtual one, you can try on a dedicated server

On a virtual one, you can only do what they offer and there are no freebies there.
Run Linux there is nothing to worry about, freebsd time is running out.
At one time I was looking for FreeBSD VDS. Found at a relatively reasonable price on firstvds.ru/ispserver.ru. For some time I was on firstvds, but the machine turned out to be very unstable, screaming all the time about the lack of free resources. And this despite the fact that the machine was spinning at home on a real obsolete hardware with the same parameters and worked without failures. I ended up ditching VDS in favor of Shared Hosting because there was simply no need for something non-standard (except for Jabber, but it is now free of charge for both Yandex and Google).
I can install FreeBSD =) In the same hatzner of the virtual machine.
And according to the subject - www.opennet.ru/base/sys/freebsd_to_linux_debian.txt.html
Should stand on native VQ hatzners. But they are poor.
